100% MW Bluefaced Leicester 

A sport weight yarn with nice drape and a little natural fuzz.  Rustic but soft with a more matte finish than merino.  Recommend to knit with size 3-4mm needles. 

Always order as much yarn as you need to complete a project as each batch of a colour will be unique, due to the nature of hand dyed yarn.  It is recommended that you alternate two skeins of yarn to achieve a consistent colour result over a project.  

Darker and very rich colours may bleed slightly during the first wash so if you are planning to use one together with another yarn, I recommend knitting a swatch and washing it to make sure this won’t be an issue.  

This is a superwash yarn and will not felt however I advise to always hand wash knits in cool water, with a few drops of mild detergent.  I personally use an unscented dish detergent as I’ve found common eucalyptus based wool washes will fade colours faster.
